We are eager to meet with other Central Austin families with babies born in 2010 and 2011. We look forward to exchanging stories, helpful hints, experiences as well as having play dates. If you are centrally located, join our group. We will have a mix of week day meet-ups and weekend meet-ups so that working parents are included in the group.
We are a group of stay-at-home parents of pre-school-aged children who are looking for more parents and children for playdates during the week. The playdates are low-key, very informal meetups, often held at parks with playgrounds or members' homes. Occasionally we head to the zoo, museums, or other child-friendly activities as well. About once a month or so we try to have a weekend meetup so that working parents can come join the fun!!

Nearly all the parent-child groups are for moms. This is a group for dads who want to spend time outdoors with their 2-5-year-old children. Moms welcome, too.
This group is open to moms in their 20's and 30's with kids of all ages. I really want to create a relaxed group where we all are accepting of each others children and parenting styles. NO JUDGING. Kids are kids; they run, yell, dont like to share, climb on things they should not, can turn a clean room into a tornado's after math in 30 seconds and refuse to eat anything but mac'n'cheese for a week. My kids are not perfect and neither am I. I am starting this group because I know there are other …

This is a group for mothers who would like to include their children in community service projects. All meetups will be focused on helping the community and involving the kids. Some examples include: making crafts to send to servicemen/women overseas, building donation bags for the homeless, baking cookies for fire departments, or visiting a nursing home, etc. The key is parents and children will be able to serve together. I started this group because I am compelled to do service work and want t …
