Dads and Isolation... never a good mix. This group helps Stay At Home Dads share great activities with their kids and other Dads. The focus to create a environment for our children to interact with each other and have fun, while also allowing for some dad-on-dad dialog--something many of us are lacking. Meetups occur around the Denver Area, and are both indoor and outdoor. Feel free to check out what we have scheduled, or suggest a meetup that you think would be good. Come out, share your exper …

This meetup is for those Dads that are either stay at home dads, dads that want to find something fun to do with their kids on their day off or Dads that want to get out and explore the area with their kids.
Our family is new to Colorado, and we would really love to explore our new hometown and meet other families of preschool aged children. My husband is working from home and caring for our 4yo, so if there any other stay-at-home dads, or any parent for that matter, looking for some weekday playdates, join us! I hope to join in on my day off, or plan some weekend events.

We are currently getting into plenty of baby and toddler activities, we try to alternate between paid and free venues, and we get outside weather permitting. We do focus on mom and kid activities (primary care giving dads and dads with a day off are also always welcome), however we will also have mom only and whole family events every month (I hope!). We can't wait for you and your bundle(s) of energy to come to join in the fun...and don't worry about where you live, we are scattered to the wind …

So who can (and should) join? Everyone! By exposing our children to all the diversity in the world at an early age, I believe we can raise tolerant, compassionate people! I work from home and …

A new coworking group for smart and enthusiastic individuals in and around Longmont, CO.
What's coworking you ask? Great question, and not one easily defined. The basics are that a bunch of awesome people share an office space where they can each be successful in their own unique endeavors. But! It's more. By working around motivated individuals you can network, brainstorm, or just enjoy the enthusiasm of the space. For more, you can go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/

This group is for moms, dads, and caregivers of children 0-3 years old who live in or near the Baker neighborhood in Denver. The group is open to any families in or outside of Baker and with kids older that 3 years of age. There is an "age limit" only because younger kids …

Come make new friends! Welcome to Denver’s Funtastic Moms! I took over this wonderful group back in May 2010 after Rebecca started it and moved to California. She started a great thing for moms across the Denver area (Littleton, Arvada, Aurora, to Highlands Ranch we welcome all. The only restriction I would like to put on this group is that you must have at least one child younger than 5. This is because most of our activities will be geared toward children within that age range. Other than that …

When our moms told us to "Wear Clean Underwear" when we go out, they meant to be prepared for anything. As a parent, there are important legal planning steps for you to take to be prepared for anything...even the worst. This is a Meetup for Longmont parents who want to know more about what they can do to make sure their children are taken care of the way they want them to be and never spend even one second outside their home if something happens to Mom or Dad. If you're ready to find out what …

I’m a single parent of two young kids that go to Cory and CEE and I’ve been thinking it would be nice to find a safe, comfortable environment to meet other single parents who live nearby. So, I’ve decided to start a group for single parents so we can share the unique joys and challenges of raising children alone, support each other, and create lasting friendships! This is a group intended primarily for parents in the Cory-Merrill, Belcaro, Bonnie-Brae, Cherry Creek, and Wash Park neighborhoods, …
Many of us in the 40's, 50's & Above age group are "Empty Nesters" or have teenage children who don't really want to socialize with Mom or Dad. As a single member of The Body of Christ myself, at the end of the week I have often felt that my social choices were limited to 1) Stay home alone, or 2) Go to a Nightclub. Neither choice is good. We were designed to be social creatures. "It is not good for the Man (or Woman) to be alone". Yet, sometimes it can be very difficult to connect with other pe …
